Dr Joe Zhou, Principal DentistJoe is the Principal Dentist and Founder of Knoxfield Dental Care.
Joe migrated to New Zealand with his family when he was very young. He grew up in Wellington and subsequently studied dentistry at the University of Otago. Joe is known for his friendly mannerism and gentle touch, which is the hallmark of his practicing philosophy.
Joe enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, especially in the area of orthodontics and oral surgery. He has worked at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department of Dunedin Hospital, New Zealand and also at the Oral Surgery Department of Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne.
Joe values that dentistry is a lifelong learning process. He attends continuing education regularly with the aim of constantly striving to improve the services he provides to the community.

Dr Wendy Yu, Associate DentistBorn and raised in Melbourne, Wendy graduated from The University of Melbourne, obtaining a Bachelor of Biomedicine followed by graduate degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery. Upon graduation, she worked in a small coastal town in New South Wales before moving back to Melbourne to be closer to family and friends.
Wendy aims to provide high quality dental treatment with a gentle and caring chair-side manner. She enjoys getting to know her patients through open and honest communication and strongly believes that prevention is better than cure. Wendy enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with a particular interest in restorative dentistry and orthodontics.
Outside of dentistry, Wendy likes to explore nature and travel to new places. She also loves everything related to health, food and fitness. Her next goal is to master the art of gardening as she hopes to have a house filled with greenery and her own herb and veggie garden!
Dr Isabel Zandegu, Associate DentistHaving been a Melbourne girl all her life, Isabel studied a Bachelor of Biomedical Science before completing her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Melbourne. She has since worked in both the public and private areas of regional Victoria, including in Shepparton, Maryborough and Ballarat. Isabel has now settled back into the suburbs and is looking forward to helping her local community with their dental needs.
Isabel has a particular passion for helping anxious patients overcome their fears and learn to see their teeth as an important part of their overall health. She enjoys the variety that general dentistry has to offer and takes pleasure in treating children and the elderly alike.
Isabel strives to keep up to date with the newest research and technologies in dentistry by attending professional development courses, so her patients can receive the most modern and effective care. She is also a member of the Australian Dental Association.
In her spare time, Isabel enjoys the great company of her family and friends, relaxing at the local cafes, and spending time with her two dogs.
Dr Si Si Yu, Associate DentistSi Si completed both her university degrees at The University of Melbourne, first obtaining a Bachelor sf Science then graduating as the Valedictorian of her year for the Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Having come from a Chinese background, Si Si is fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese.
Si Si believes in providing the optimal treatment for her patients in a gentle and caring manner. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry including restorative dentistry and root canal therapy. Si Si understands the importance of oral health and takes time to listen to the concerns of her patients and explain the procedures to the patients beforehand.
Outside of dentistry , Si Si enjoys checking out new restaurants and cafes, appreciating the variety of cuisines Melbourne has to offer. She also enjoys being outdoors and enjoying the beautiful scenery nature has to offer.
